I like the part where it has to actually work

Based in Vancouver, BC. Four years building applied AI and full stack products, most of them owned end to end.

./portrait.txt

Grew up around agriculture.Learned that a forecast is not a result.

That framing followed me into software. First into research, where a result you cannot reproduce is a story you told yourself. Then into products, where the same rule applies with money attached.

How I think

Four lenses, one problem

01

Product

What is worth building, and what we are not building.

02

Engineering

What it costs to build and to keep running.

03

AI

Where a model helps, and where it quietly makes things worse.

04

Users

Whether any of it made the job easier.

How a build actually goes

My default loop

TALKto whoever has the pai01FRAMEwrite down the metric02CUTdecide what to skip03SHIPsmallest real version04MEASUREthen argue with data05

Operating principles

Four rules I actually follow

01 / measure

Measure before you optimise

An improvement without a baseline is a story. I build the eval first, then argue with numbers.

02 / cut

Cut early

Scope is the only lever that always works.

03 / own

Own the whole path

Discovery to deploy. Handoffs are where products lose their intent.

04 / trust

Trust is the metric

One confidently wrong answer costs more than ten slow ones. I pay for verification.

Hiring for a product engineer who can carry the whole thing?

Send me the role and the problem behind it. I will tell you honestly whether I am the right fit.
